Spring break is almost over, and it finally turned spring on the calendar. You wouldn't know it by the weather though. I don't know how much snow we have, except that it snowed about 3 inches Friday night and snowed all day yesterday. I'll be digging out before club this morning!
I'm behind in my reading, but anticipate getting caught up soon. I've finished "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and "Eklesia". It's not on to a book by Dann Spader and Gary Mayes. That will get started maybe tonight, but realistically it'll wait until tomorrow.
Today my goals are to get ready for going back to teaching at school, and to take my coaching test today online for softball. For those not in the know, I am the new head coach of the softball team where I coach. Go Sabres! Speaking of my school, not only are we ranked #63 academically by US News, but we also won the men's 4A basketball tournament. Now we have brains & brawn, with the hardware to prove it! Great school, great staff, and great students.
As for the house, we have a new inhabitant and a new upgrade. We have purchase an ornery little gal called Lilly. She's a golden hamster that is the fastest rodent this side of the Mississip'. The upgrade is a garage door that we had installed just in time for the snow storm! It actually seals with the garage, much to the dismay of neighborhood rodents and birds :(
Off to shovel some spring-time snow!
